Easy Baked Egg with Spinach & Brie on Keto Almond Bread

A High Protein Breakfast! What better day to wake up than to see and taste vibrant colours? Thoughtfully put together by @angelinataydance, a well balanced, high protein way to kickstart your day!

Prep time: 10-15mins

Ingredients:

  • 2 Slices of Bakening’s Keto Almond Bread
  • 2 Eggs
  • Brie cheese (or any other cheese)
  • Small cup of Baby Spinach (roughly chopped)
  • Italian herbs & Black Pepper (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees celcius.
  2. Either lightly oil or line a small oven proof dish with baking paper and then first put in the roughly chopped spinach, crack two eggs in and then add the slices of Brie cheese on top then sprinkle with some Italian herbs and black pepper.
  3. Put the dish into the preheated oven and bake for about 8-10 mins or until the egg white is cooked and egg yolk is still a little runny.
  4. Serve it with two slices of Bakening Keto Almond Bread!
Tips:
You can change up the ingredients to include mushrooms, tomatoes or other vegetables or even leave out the cheese as you prefer. I like to add some raw honey on my bread and eat them with some fruits but if you are on a strict keto diet you can spread some mashed avocado on your bread instead!
